Our biggest problem is with fund raising. We continually need money to cover the costs of veterinary bills and food.

The cats that come to us have the best of veterinary attention. If they need expensive treatment or surgery they receive it no matter what it costs. All the cats are blood tested and fully vaccinated. Sometimes it is not possible to pass the full cost of treatment on to the new owner. Some of our residents need on going treatment for the rest of their lives.

If you would like to make a one off donation to the work of the rescue please feel free to do so. Please send your donation to Pauline (see our contact details).

Why not join our fundraiser Ann McGrory at various venues throughout the country. Ann raises our profile at as many cat shows as she can attend, she works so this is a great thing she is doing for us. At the shows she sells a variety of animal themed articles; cushions throws, blankets and much more.

Alternatively perhaps you would like to raise some money to help us in our work. There are many different ways to raise money, coffee mornings are popular, and of course the car boot sale, if you have any other fund raising ideas… give them a go or let us know so we can give them a try Having raised some money send us your 'ill gotten gains'! You may even like to remember us in your will!!

Do please take a moment to browse our Website and if you know of a good home for one of our current guests, please take a look at the Good Homes Needed section. Thank you!

Fund Raising ...
Donating To Our Work ...
Typically one cat costs around £15 per month in food alone. On top of this there are veterinary bills which can be quite substantial. For example neutering and vaccinations are around the £150 figure.

If you wish to donate on a regular basis a standing order madate can be found HERE

Single Gift

If you do not wish to give on a monthly basis but would like to make a one off donation this would be much appreciated. Single donations can still be gift aided thus enabling us to recover the income tax and increase the value of the gift. Please see below for more details.

Gift Aid

Are you a UK tax payer? If so you can increase the value of your gift as the Inland Revenue will give us money back on the money you give to us. At present for every £1 you donate we can turn this into £1-28. All you need to do is fill out a simple form and return it to us.

There are no hidden gotchas on this the only restriction is that you must pay at least as much in tax as the charity is claiming back. What's more if you pay pay tax at the 40% rate and keep account of your gift aid giving you are allowed to offset your giving against the higher tax band.

Please click HERE to load the gift aid form which you should complete and post to us.
